Sometimes they are the girl next-door and unattainable diva during others. Sari clad and heavily sequined or scantily underdressed other times. However, inevitable as they are, there is hardly any movie that lacks the presence – read charisma – of the female lead. As ardent fans, we have adored them and some die-hards have even gone ahead with their diva worshipping to the extent of building temples.

personality
Personality
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other uses, see Personality (disambiguation).
Personality is the particular combination of emotional, attitudinal, and behavioral response patterns of an individual. Different personality theorists present their own definitions of the word based on their theoretical positions.[1]
Psychology
Some ideas in the psychological and scientific study of personality include:
- Personality changes
- Personality development, the concept that personality is affected by various sources
- Personality disorder
- Personality genetics, a scientific field that examines the relation between personality and genetics
- Personality pathology, characterized by adaptive inflexibility, vicious cycles of maladaptive behavior, and emotional instability under stress
- Personality psychology, the theory and study of individual differences, traits, and types
- Personality quiz a series of questions (usually multiple-choice, rating scale, or True/False) intended to describe aspects of an individual's character, thoughts, and feelings
- Personality style
- Personality systematics, among subsystems of personality as they are embedded in the entire ecological system
- Personality test
- Personality type, refers to patterns of relatively enduring characteristics of behavior that occur with sufficient frequency
- Personality trait, refers to enduring personal characteristics that are revealed in a particular pattern of behaviour in a variety of situations
[edit]Beginning of personality study
The study of personality started with Hippocrates' four humours and gave rise to four temperaments.[2] The explanation was further refined by his successor Galen during the second century CE. The Four Humours theory held that a person's personality was based on the balance of bodily humours; yellow bile, black bile, phlegm and blood.[3] Choleric people were characterized as having an excess of yellow bile, making them irascible. High levels of black bile was indicative of melancholy and pessimism. Phlegmatic people were thought to have an excess of phlegm, leading to their sluggish, calm temperament. Finally, people thought to have high levels of blood were said to be sanguine and were characterized by their cheerful, passionate dispositions. [4]
[edit]Origins of the modern individual personality
The modern sense of individual personality is a result of the shifts in culture originating in the Renaissance, an essential element in modernity. In contrast the Medieval European's sense of selfwas linked to a network of social roles: "the household, the kinship network, the guild, the corporation- these were the building blocks of personhood", Stephen Greenblatt observes, in recounting the recovery (1417) and career of Lucretius' poem De rerum natura: "at the core of the poem lay key principles of a modern understanding of the world."[5] ""Dependant on the family, the individual alone was nothing," Jacques Gélis observes.[6]

Depression, suicide rising among college students
In the United States, suicide is the third leading cause of death
among people from 15 to 24 years old. More than 3,900 young people die
by committing suicide every year.
Earlier this month, two students at Cornell University took their own lives by “gorging,” or leaping off a bridge into the vast gorges. The suicides have contributed to the perception that Cornell has a higher-than-average suicide rate. Another student, a freshman, was found at the bottom of Fall Creek Gorge last month, and his death was also ruled a suicide.
Suicides and violence related to mental illness have been on the rise on college campuses across the nation over the years. For instance, in the Virginia Tech massacre of 2007, student Seung-Hui Cho opened fire at Virginia Tech, killing 32 people and wounding 25 others. He suffered from severe anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder.
“I think that depression and suicide are the largest health issues facing college students at this time,” said Alan Glass, director of Washington University’s Student Health Services and a member of the American College Health Association’s board of directors. “Universities have realized that more and more resources are going to need to be focused on these areas.”
Although the causes of this increase in mental illness among college students are manifold and unclear, reasons likely include academic pressure, transition difficulties and financial stress due to the economic recession.
“Academics can be a major source of stress, especially at a top institution like Wash. U.,” sophomore Sheri Balogun said. “The world has gotten so much more competitive, and there’s a lot of self-inflicted pressure as well as parental pressure to get into a selective university and excel.”
This pressure to succeed affects students at all class levels in the University.
“We [freshmen] come to college not knowing what to expect, and there’s definitely a culture shock—everything is so different, and we don’t have the immediate support of our families like we used to during high school,” freshman Timothy Han said. “Classes are much harder, and the students you’re competing against were probably at the top of their graduating high school classes, so the curve can be harsh.”
Financial strains can also contribute to students’ stress. Since the economic recession, university endowments have decreased significantly, making it more difficult to grant scholarships and financial aid to students in need.
A depressed or suicidal student may exhibit symptoms such as self-harm, low self-esteem, antisocial behavior, alcohol or drug abuse and despondency. One key to helping out such individuals is to help them to realize that their situation is not permanent and that there is hope for change.
Glass said not all universities are doing enough to aid their students in dealing with this debilitating health issue.
“Colleges and universities need to increase services and resources focused on mental health issues,” Glass said. “They also need to provide easier access to mental health services and do more outreach programs on campus. Every student who has depression and anxiety issues does not show up at the counseling center.”

DEVUDU CHESINA PURIIIIIIII...............
puri Jagannath, who has given big break to Ravi Teja with Idiot and Amma, Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, is a great director, who could dish out blockbusters like Pokiri and Businessman. But he appears quite crazy in his latest film Devudu Chesina Manushulu. It seems his mind has become blank and out of ideas by the time he was about to pen a story for Ravi Teja's film. The story of Devudu Chesina Manushulu begins when Lakshmi (Kovai Sarala) asks Lord Vishnu (Brahmanandam) to tell her an interesting and entertaining story. He begins the story with Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja), a settlement broker. One day Subba Raju (Subba Raju) steps on the peel of a banana thrown by Papayya (MS Narayana) on the road, and kills Sandy a close associate of Bangkok don Prakash Raj (Prakash Raj). Subba Raju asks Ravi Teja to broach a settlement between him and Prakash. Ravi Teja meets Prakash Raj in Bangkok, where he falls in love with Telugu-speaking taxi driver Ileana (Ileana). Prakash Raj, in order to accept Ravi Teja's offer, wants Ileana for him for a night. What happens next will form an interesting portion of the movie.
Performance: Ravi Teja has delivered best performance and Puri Jagannath's punch dialogues help him to maintain good comedy timing. Mass Maharaja has completely utilised his energy levels and made use of the action backdrop to keep the mass audiences stay calm in their seats. Ileana has filled the glamour slot. She has no scope for performance. Prakash Raj has done justice to his role. Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala are good in their roles, but the director has played with Gods' characters with the comedians. Junior Relangi, Ali and MS Narayana have also done a good job.
Technical: Senior cameraman Shyam K Naidu has excelled once again in the cinematography and captured the beauty of Bangkok. On the other hand, he has nicely highlighted the glamour of Ileana in the songs. SR Sekhar's editing is commendable. Vijay's action is another good feature in the film. Raghu Kunche has given good tunes to the songs, but his background score is very poor.
It is Puri Jagannath, who has spoiled the entire mood of the film by dumping a non-sensical subject on them. It is clearly visible that he has ran out of ideas while starting off the film and by the time of interval, once again his mind goes blank. He doesn't know how to continue the film and he starts it afresh, some how linking the subject. Of course, he has admitted that he started the film without any story. The screenplay of the film too is atrocious.
Remarks: Watch the film only if you are a hardcore fan of Ravi Teja. The film can be watched for Puri Jagannath's punch dialogues and Ileana's glamour. After a long time, you feel that you spent your valuable time and money unnecessarily on a Ravi Teja's film.
Cast: Raviteja, Ileana, Prakash Raj, Subbaraju, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Fish Venkat, Junior Relangi, Kovai Sarala, Jyothi Rana, Manasa and Gabriel Bartante
Credits: Lyrics - Bhaskarabhatla; Cinematography - Shyam K Naidu; Editing - SR Sekhar; Action - Vijay; Choreography - Pradeep Anthony, Dinesh; Presents - Reliance Entertainment; Producer - BVSN Prasad; Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction - Puri Jagannath

the top handsome in bollywood
The Sexiest Indian Men
This tall, dark and handsome hunk is the best man to kick this countdown off with…#10 Kunal Kapoor
Some of you may wonder why we are including this lesser known actor on this list, but those of you who have seen the photograph below can understand.
Kunal Kapoor signifies hope to all us Indian women who are out there looking for some sexy, yet decent, male companionship. Unlike the other, more pampered young-Kapoor, Kunal is a beacon of raw sex appeal, overwhelming good looks, and a mature persona to carry it all off with.
#9 Abhishek Bachchan
The younger Bachchan is without a doubt one smooth criminal. With a piercing glare and a mischievous smile, this young scion of the most popular family in Bollywood, has caught the fancy of far too many urban girls and women. His love for three-piece suits and not taking his shirt off, makes him an exception to this otherwise almost completely bare-chested collection.
What we would really like from the actor now is to separate his image from his father’s and make something one of his own. Hey, he even has Aishwarya Rai for a wife!
#8 Neil Nitin Mukesh
Kick starting his career from a relatively low-key movie, Neil is now part of the mainstream in little over 2 years. Being a fitness fanatic gets him the edge over the previous entrant on this list. Aside from the acting talent, his choice of fashion and style is impeccably tuned to the tastes of an increasingly westernized India.
Despite not tasting success with his recent
films, this well-toned man is wanted on the big screen by legions of
swooning girls of all ages.
The youngest of Deols in the acting fraternity isn’t just the best, but also the sexiest. Abhay has made it his job to opt for smaller, but sensible, movies in an otherwise nonsensical Bollywood. Kudos, hugs and kisses to this dimpled gentleman who is known to never loose his cool.
Torn jeans, a loose tie and a crumbled shirt – this is what makes this man one among this list of 10 very sexy men in India.
#6 Ranbir Kapoor
Who doesn’t like the chocolate boy of every generation? Ranbir is this era’s cute, lovable, and surprisingly toned, heartthrob. Baring everything in his debut movie certainly helped to ring the screaming girls in, but it was his modest, boyish attitude that cemented his inclusion on this list.
#5 Akshay Kumar
Despite doing some of the stupidest movies we have seen in the last 10 years, Akshay Kumar’s virtues of family, a fab body and the occasional stripping has us loving the man despite his age.
Twinkle is one lucky woman, but above all, Akshay is one lucky man for getting someone who chose to support him through some major slumps in his career.
Being this good looking an Indian man,
Akshay is a hard-worker, a faithful and loving husband, and a playful,
at times self-deprecating, superstar who stumbled upon his raw sex
appeal with the turn of the millennium.
Not everybody finds this frequently-shirtless wonder all that good looking, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t sexy. Salman Khan had a fabulous body before anybody in India new what a fab body looks like.
With his recent success with Dabanng, the
actor has once again been heralded as the ultimate sex icon for the
majority of Indian women. The bad-boy image that hasn’t left his side
since the early 90s continues to attract and repel us from this
oh-so-fabulous bodied man.
#3 John Abraham
No list about sexy men in India is complete
without the inclusion of John Abraham. He is sexy enough for even our
grandmothers to call him good looking. Everything from his body to hair
seems to have been conditioned to be worthy of every woman’s
unadulterated desire.
While wishing that there was no Bipasha Basu
standing beside him everywhere he goes – we women, gay men and even
stray dogs (John supports PETA) can’t complain while Mr. Abraham is
keeping us distracted.
#2 Hrithik Roshan
With his breakthrough hit Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai,
Hrithik instantly became the most beautiful man in the subcontinent.
His greek god-like good looks make him much more than just another
pretty face.
The younger (and married) Roshan is without
a doubt a very sexy Indian man who likes to keep his private life
private. We also know of possessive nature when it comes to his family
which just makes him all the more irresistible to the naked eye.
#1 Shahrukh Khan
Now this is a choice that nobody will
object to – Shahrukh Khan at number one is an obvious decision. After
all, who else can walk on a fashion ramp with a fractured arm and still
look sexy!
With his charisma, quick sense of humor and
family man ethics, Shahrukh proves everybody else on this list wrong –
men don’t need to be pretty, good looking or even well toned to be sexy.
You either have it, or you don’t – but you cannot just get it! King
Khan has so much of “it” that we can’t even begin to describe how sexy
this czar of Indian movies really is.
Let us know your top 10 sexiest men in
India in the comments below. Do you think we went astray by including
one or all of the men mentioned on this list? We look forward to reading
what you have to say.

HUMAN PYSCOLOGY...............
Human Psychology, Behavior, Evolutionary
Phylogenetic Study: It involves the evolutionary history of various species during the humanization process.
Octogenetic Study: It studies the formation and development of adult behavior.
The adaptability of man is a cultural phenomenon because it is the product of learning. Human evolutionary psychology is a continuous, flexible and global human development where the psychological changes occur throughout the life. A human is born with limited behavior but has the power of adaptability and learning and because of which one differentiates every individual from other.
Several trends have contributed their findings to evolutionary human psychology, psychoanalysis and Piaget’s genetic psychology, socio-cultural model of Vygotsky, learning theories, the model of information processing in recent times and also the ecological model the ethological. Series of tasks involved in human development, characteristic of different stages. These tasks are largely imposed by society and culture, socialization processes, and integrate the individual.
Object of study of developmental psychology:
The main objectives are to describe the behavior of individuals, and how they evolve, to identify the causes and processes leading to these changes from one stage to another. Other authors relate these changes with life stage, circumstances and environment, and experiences of each individual.
The stage theory of Piaget:
Piaget proposed the study of human knowledge in an evolutionary and diachronic, of genetic epistemology, trying to explain the evolution of human knowledge, both as individual species. Studies the evolution of childhood intelligence and it proposes three stages: the sensorimotor period, the concrete operational and formal operations. Where newborn reflexes are related to sensory-motor intelligence. Specific operations are with the emergence of language and scientific thinking to formal operations.
However, there are intermediate stages linked to qualitative changes. The structure and mechanisms of change are rooted in biology: adaptation and self-regulation or balance. Adaptive exchange between the organism and the environment is similar to that between subject and object of knowledge, a psychological level. The mind seeks balance and the individual's actions arise when the imbalance appears, looking back on.
Assimilation and accommodation allow the subject to incorporate new objects to their cognitive structure and accommodation transforms its previous structure adapting to new knowledge.
Patterns of knowledge are changing continuously depending on the circumstances and roles to play. Applying these to the new object of knowledge given by the process of assimilation and accommodation. Human intelligence is the result of exchanges between the subject and the environment. However, heredity is important in development because there are factors of a structural nature associated with the formation and maturation of the nervous system.
Human Intelligence and Behavior Psychology
In this decade many technological innovations have emerged about human behavior and human intelligence. The intelligence has many definitions, all are correct in their own understandings.
Human Intelligence is defined as; "The intelligence comes down to your ability to know your own strengths and weaknesses and exploit the strengths while compensating for weaknesses." When we talk about intelligence, we're really talking about our ability to react intuitively, creatively and constructively to a wide number of experiences of human behavior.
The human intelligence is also defined as an ability to:
* Use a skill.
* Carve or build an artifact
* Solving a problem in a way that is valued by the particular culture of the subject that solves it.
Human intelligence cannot be described in a single way or a single category but it has various point for the consideration of human behavior. There are seven categories of intelligence based on human psychology which are:
Logical-mathematical: Is the ability to solve problems, perform math, fixing appliances, building equipment, out of crossroads, understand rules, schedule activities and solve puzzles. People who develop this intelligence have abilities to reason, for strings, think in terms of cause and effect, create hypotheses and seek numerical associations.
The space: It is one's relationship with things around him, observing an object from various angles, imagine colorful landscapes, parallel parking on the street, deftly handle a truck or trailer, flying an airplane, ice skating. People who use this intelligence find it easier to visualize forms in interaction, complex shapes can mentally rotate through several planes. They are very good observers and have a great sense of direction and orientation, are very sensitive to visual detail and can be expressed in drawings and graphs.
Kinesthetic body: Is the ability to use the body in different ways, both expressed as to perform specific tasks mime, sports, gymnastics, drama, dance. People with this type of developed intelligence work very well with the hands, tend to be in constant motion and learn more effectively through practical examples and experience.
Rhythmic and musical: People who have developed the intelligence and musical rhythmic possess the ability to perceive, appreciate and produce rhythms and melodies, drumming fingers on objects and sounds by clapping rhythm tend to be consistent between what they do and what they say. Also developed very easily to play instruments without sheet music, they like to work with background music.
Verbal language: The ability to handle the words, language, writing, tell jokes, act in detail, to argue. People who have this intelligence well developed, they have power because they can explain things, are fluid and alive in discussion, have the ability to convince others of your point of view. People with this intelligence developed seem to enjoy their expectations spoken or written. The language intelligence may be innate, but nevertheless improves nutrition and practice. The classic example is Demosthenes, with his ability for oratory, after being a stutterer.
Interpersonal: This category of intelligence focuses on the relationships (Human Relationships) we have with others, easy to understand and the ability to cooperate with them. If this intelligence well developed, can "read" other people, build strong relationships and demonstrate empathy and have facility to interact in social media. People who have this intelligence show an active interest in analyzing how others think and feel in their environment. Very often they are good to solve personal problems. Of particular preference for working in teams rather than in isolation which is great to understand human psychology.
Intrapersonal: People who manage to ease this category of intelligence, they tend to introspection, self-evaluation, reflection, set goals, write what you do to plan and envision their future. This capacity developed to look within themselves, their own emotions to understand and discriminate between various types of feelings, and classify them in a very meaningful way, helping them to understand and guide their own behavior. The intrapersonal intelligence is controlled by levels of faith, hope and self-confidence and gives us the enthusiasm and energy to achieve what we want. All of these factors are influenced by humanistic psychology.
actors of Human Relationships Psychology
At no time had become so widespread the issue of human relationships as is happening now, and this is in part to the widespread use of information which has now changed. Communication is one of the essential features of the human being and human behavior psychology this in itself a social being by nature. Paradoxically, each individual has a unique appearance of a microcosm to put it another way, "every head is a world" and each individual, to be surrounded by other more pressing need to engage with these sooner or later and in some way or another, that by itself already represents a challenge with some difficulty, in fact our interpersonal relationships are somewhat complex entry and now imagine what psychology of human relationships represents.
Other essential factor in our relations is the personality, as this is all transmitter what we communicate in our environment, and it is this, the one that achieves others perceive us as individuals, to define certain features of our very special person. By communicating we are sending our psyche to others at the same time they also convey his, which creates a process that involves the entire human being and his psychology; this is more a development that a range of constituents, it is then a succession of actions and reactions to our environment, with a partial fixation of lived experience and an unlimited view of possibilities. In any time we are sending and receiving messages, and these can be developed or unconsciously, made in an entirely deliberate. So every human being is projected to communicate and so it is in the interaction of the factors that give rise Human Relationships.

SEE THE FUTURE
Thinking About a New Career? Explore Your Options
Career exploration is the second stage of the career planning process. You will begin to explore careers after completing the first stage of the career planning process, self assessment. During that stage you took inventory of your values, interests, personality and skills. You should have come away from the self assessment stage with a list of careers that are appropriate for you based on what you found out about yourself. Now it's time to learn about the careers on your list so you can begin to make that list shorter. Your goal is to eventually narrow it down to the one career you want to pursue. Try not to eliminate any career from your list until you do, at least, a little bit of research about it. Even if you think you know about an occupation, you may be surprised by what you learn.Start With the Basics
At first you will just want to gather some basic information about each career on your list. Let's assume you have a list of ten occupations. You can do some preliminary research which will allow you to narrow down your list before you do more in depth research. When exploring careers you will need basic information such as job descriptions, employment statistics, job outlook, earnings and educational and training requirements. For basic information, use these resources:After reading up on the careers on your list you will find that several of them don't appeal to you. For example, you may decide that you wouldn't enjoy the job duties of a particular career or that you can't (or choose not to) meet its requirements. The earnings may be lower than you thought or its outlook doesn't look promising. In the end, you will be left with a list with no more than about three careers on it.
Delve Deeper
After you narrow down your list of career choices your research will become more involved. You will want to learn what working in the field is really like, at least as much as you can without actually working in it. The best way to do this is to talk to people who do.- Utilize your network to compile a list of people who work in your field or fields of interest.
- Set up informational interviews with them.
- See if any of your contacts are willing to let you follow him or her around at work for a day.
Goals or objectives development
The career management process begins with setting goals/objectives. A relatively specific goal/objective must be formulated. This task may be quite difficult when the individual lacks knowledge of career opportunities and/or is not fully aware of their talents and abilities. However, the entire career management process is based on the establishment of defined goals/objectives whether specific or general in nature. Utilizing career assessments may be a critical step in identifying opportunities and career paths that most resonate with someone. Career assessments can range from quick and informal like those on CareerBuilder or may be more indepth like those such as Myers-Briggs and CareerLeader supported assessments found on MyPath. Regardless of the ones you use, you will need to evaluate them. Most assessments found today for free (although good) do not offer an in-depth evaluation. The time horizon for the achievement of the selected goals or objectives - short term, medium term or long term - will have a major influence on their formulation.
- Short term goals (one or two years) are usually specific and limited in scope. Short term goals are easier to formulate. Make sure they are achievable and relate to your longer term career goals.
- Intermediate goals (3 to 5 years) tend to be less specific and more open ended than short term goals. Both intermediate and long term goals are more difficult to formulate than short term goals because there are so many unknowns about the future.
- Long term goals (more than 5 years), of course, are the most fluid of all. Lack of life experience and knowledge about potential opportunities and pitfalls make the formulation of long term goals/objectives very difficult. Long range goals/objectives, however, may be easily modified as additional information is received without a great loss of career efforts because of experience/knowledge transfer from one career to another.
- Making career choices and decisions – the traditional focus of careers interventions. The changed nature of work means that individuals may now have to revisit this process more frequently now and in the future, more than in the past.
- Managing the organizational career – concerns the career management tasks of individuals within the workplace, such as decision-making, life-stage transitions, dealing with stress etc.
- Managing 'boundaryless' careers – refers to skills needed by workers whose employment is beyond the boundaries of a single organisation, a workstyle common among, for example, artists and designers.
- Taking control of one's personal development – as employers take less responsibility, employees need to take control of their own development in order to maintain and enhance their employability.
